An African woman in Saudi Arabia snatched off the bag of another lady while shopping, stripped off and ran away naked to prevent passers by from chasing her, a newspaper in the Gulf Kingdom reported on Thursday.
The lady screamed when the unnamed thief grabbed her bag and ran away in a local market in the central town of Makkah, Kabar said.
Passers by chased the African woman, who then took off her clothes and started to run in the street completely naked.
“She threatened her chasers that she would tell the police that they were trying to rape her….she then threw the bag at them and ran off,” the paper said.
“They recovered the bag and told police about the woman, who sneaked into a lane without a trace…police are still looking for her.
