The Shoura Council’s General Commission Saturday decided a committee will discuss a draft law regulating the marriages of Saudis to foreigners. The committee assigned to study the draft law comprises a number of council members. The council’s meeting Saturday was chaired by Dr. Abdullah Aal Al-Sheikh.
The commission’s committees of Economic Affairs and Energy and Financial Affairs are also expected to discuss the 2009/2010 financial reports of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities and the Saudi Credit and Savings Bank.
There will also be discussion of the two annual reports of the General Auditing Bureau and the bureau’s report on financial reviews and performance monitoring for the 2007/2008 financial years. Proposed legislation on healthcare and environment will also be discussed
